THE FIELD GUIDE

About & methodology

Practical restaurant marketing advice, with sources close to every factual claim.

Who this is for

Restaurant Email Field Guide is written for independent US restaurant owners and the marketers who support small multi-unit groups. The goal is to make campaign planning, software selection, and measurement usable between services.

How we research

We link product pricing to the vendor’s own public plan page or documentation and date our checks. If a marketing product requires a quote, we say so instead of using a related POS price. We identify our suggested timing, examples, and estimates as editorial recommendations.

Named restaurant stories come from public vendor case studies. They show what a specific operator reported, not an expected result for every restaurant. We cite primary regulatory sources for federal email and text rules and ask readers to check state and provider requirements.

Commercial disclosure

We may add affiliate partnerships in the future. At publication, comparison links lead directly to vendors without affiliate tracking. A paid relationship will be disclosed beside relevant links, and our editorial method will continue to favor verifiable fit and cost.

Corrections

Prices and product limits move. If a plan, integration, or case detail has changed, use the contact page to send the current source. We update the page and modification date when a material correction is made.
